Promoting Health and Dignity

With support from UNFPA Sri Lanka and the People of Japan, FPA Sri Lanka implemented community awareness sessions on key sexual and reproductive health (SRH) topics, empowering women and girls with knowledge and access to essential resources. As part of this initiative, Adolescent Hygiene Kits, Maternity Kits, and Dignity Kits were distributed, each thoughtfully packed to support health, hygiene, and well-being. These efforts continue to promote confidence, dignity, and equitable access to SRH information and care.

“Even though I couldn’t stay for the entire duration of the programme, I came and observed at different times. The children have developed good attitudes because of the programme. If we talk about the programme and the FPA, after the sessions, the children are showing good skills. The service we received through counselling is extremely valuable. Even though it was something external, the children really liked it. The programme is effective”
